Every picture tells a story

The Equinox Photography is a woman’s creative adventure. Her name is Annalisa, and she is an engineer by education and an artist by nature.

Once, there was a little girl with an analogue reflex camera. She loved to take pictures of her toys, the flowers in the garden, and the world around her. She was excited every time she rolled the film back into the canister, and even more thrilled when she received the prints and negatives. She loved creating memories and telling stories no words could tell. That little girl was me.

I’ve been a passionate photographer my whole life. I was introduced to the world of photography by my parents in the early 2000s when I was only four or five years old. Since then, I’ve never stopped taking photographs. Despite my passion for visual arts, and for extremely personal reasons, I decided to pursue a scientific career and studied mechanical engineering at university. Although I graduated with honours, I was not happy. I felt as though I had no direction. I soon realised I needed to change my path and embark on an artistic journey.
